We introduced, to Groupe Geraud (largest market operator in France), the opportunity to acquire this company, out of a larger corporate transaction from Ashtenne. We were instrumental in the acquisition process and negotiation of the 57 site business, comprising 1.41m sqft of retail floor space, spread throughout the UK for a purchase price of £16.5m.

Springford were then retained as strategic property advisers to the business and its portfolio, involved in all matters from rent reviews/lease renewals/re-gears, disposals and acquisitions. The two most notable further acquisitions were The Forge Market, Glasgow and Brixton Market, London. We remained involved with the business for a period of eight years.
